Lynx packages contain everything you need to produce NFHS-approved Fully Automatic Timing (F.A.T.) and Results. The Scholastic Package produces photo-finish results at 600 frames per second – that’s 10 times more precise than alternative timing systems (60 fps).
“3-9-6: When fully automatic timing (FAT) is used, timing shall be recorded in one one-hundredths of a second and all ties for place finishes and/or determining qualifiers for a subsequent round shall be broken by using timing to one one-thousandths of a second if the system allows” (2009 Track & Field Rule Changes, NFHS.org).
The Scholastic Package includes all necessary cables, camera mounting hardware, LynxPad Meet Management Software, FinishLynx Lite Results Software, and a fully upgradeable photo-finish camera that produces results accurate to 1/1000th of a second. This system offers all the benefits of digital F.A.T. at an unprecedented cost.
The BRONZE PACKAGE is an all-inclusive photo-finish system from Lynx – the leader in Fully Automatic Timing (F.A.T.). With this system, all you need is a computer to deliver NFHS-compliant results at your Track & Field meets - no matter the size.
When your program makes the switch to F.A.T. results, everybody involved in your meets will benefit: Athletes, Coaches, and Meet Administrators. Lynx allows you to use your volunteers much more efficiently, so there’s less stress on officials and volunteers, and hand-timers become unnecessary.
And thanks to our LynxPad software, you can easily setup the meet, athlete entries, seed marks, and the printing of heat sheets. The Head Timer and all the athletes and coaches will love the fact that race images are reviewable and accurate to 1/1000th of a second. Disputes over close finishes and athlete ID’s will become a thing of the past.
With the Silver Package you can make adjustments to the position of the camera and lens settings remotely
from the FinishLynx software – and you will have all the benefits of full color images.
The Color Upgrade allows the EtherLynx 2000+ camera to produce full-color images (instead of monochrome), while the Remote Lens and Remote Positioner Upgrades allow you to align and adjust the camera from Lynx software. Remote features include: Focus, Zoom, Iris, Pan, Tilt, Swivel, and Auto-Align.
When you combine the Motorized Lens and Mounting Platform Upgrades with the auto-align feature in the FinishLynx Software, aligning the camera on the finish line is a snap. Simply adjust the focus, make sure you can see athletes in the nearest and furthest lanes, and let the software take care of the rest. Get clear pictures and accurate results.

The IdentiLynx Full-Frame Video Camera is an Ethernet-based digital video camera that combines with any EtherLynx line-scan camera to enhancing your 1-D photo-finish images with integrated full-frame video.
The RadioLynx Wireless Start System is a customer-favorite because it replaces the 500’ start cable and allows operaters to move freely about the track.
The Auto-Capture and PhotoEye Plug-in for the FinishLynx software allows the camera to function like a photo-cell - automatically capturing finish line images (and times, which can be sent to the 9-digit display).
