The Manual Zoom Lens is a key upgrade for the Scholastic Package because it provides increased flexibility with camera placement. While the standard lens requires strict camera placement, this zoom lens allows you to setup almost anywhere in the plane of the finish line.

The FinishLynx Network COM Port (NCP) Plug-in allows you to use a single FinishLynx computer to communicate with multiple serial devices directly through TCP sockets instead of serial ports. With the NCP Plug-in and SeriaLynx, you can put serial devices such as scoreboards, wind gauges, and lap timers on a wired or wireless Ethernet network compatible with FinishLynx.

The Facility Starting System enables 4 different start cable configurations so you easily transition between multiple start locations by connecting to sensors spread throughout the venue. The system allows you to plug-and-go instead of dragging hundreds of feet of start cable around. Cables supplied will reach these start locations: 1. 400/800/1600m, 2. 100/110m 200m 3. 200m 4. 1500m

The ACM Plug-in for FinishLynx allows the system to capture results images automatically without a capture button or photo-cell by automatically detecting and recording all finish line activity. It also enables your camera to be used as a "virtual" Photo-eye to broadcast running-time, splits, and finish times to compatible displays. 

The Remote Lens and Remote Positioner upgrades allow you to align and adjust the camera/lens from your laptop. The Remote Positioner is a sturdy, motor-powered camera platform that allows you to auto-align, pan, tilt, and swivel.

The Remote Lens allows you to adjust the iris, focus, and zoom--all by only using the FinishLynx software. Works with Remote Positioner upgrade (above).

The Through-the-Lens (TTL) Viewer (and compatible f-Mount lens) dramatically improve the camera alignment process when using a manual lens. Cameras without a TTL Viewer require operators to manually adjust the camera while it's high on a tripod and then return to the laptop to re-check the alignment via FinishLynx. The TTL Viewer streamlines this process by allowing operators to look through the lens using a small eye-piece on the side of the viewer so it can be perfectly adjusted in a single step.

ResulTV is a configurable graphic display program that allows you to easily display splits, finish times, and other results using FinishLynx or a meet management program. ResulTV uses display templates that can be edited and adjusted to fit a variety of display sources and resolutions. It also allows for dynamic event graphics like school logos, medals, and FinishLynx images.

The Electronic Start System interfaces directly with FinshLynx to provide complete synchronization of the start signal, visible flash, and audible tone. It can produce either a start tone or simulated gun sound, and is compatible with both wired start and RadioLynx wireless start. The system not only provides superior accuracy, but also removes the need for traditional starting guns and all the smoke, cartridges, and room for human error that come with them.

The NFHS and USATF require wind gauges during sprint events in order for new records to be considered valid. This Ultrasonic Wind Gauge accurately records head/tail winds to ensure that any record-breaking performances are certifiable at every level of competition. All data is seamlessly integrated with FinishLynx so you can include wind readings with all your live results.

The RadioLynx Wireless Start System replaces the 500’ start cable and allows operators to move more freely about the track. The system wirelessly transmits the start signal using a wireless transmitter and receiver and integrates seamlessly with FinishLynx. It is extremely accurate--with precision greater than ±0.4 thousandths of a second. And thanks to built-in redundancy transmission, the wireless signal is reliable even in the event of a severe disturbance.

IdentiLynx is an Ethernet-based digital video camera that combines with any EtherLynx line-scan camera, enhancing your 1-D photo-finish image with 2-D 'head-on' video from the front. IdentiLynx video is time-synchronized with the FinishLynx capture so you can click anywhere on the image and watch the head-on video jump to precisely the same moment; this allows for easy athlete identification using bib numbers or team affiliation. If your program currently owns the entry-level Scholastic Package and its needs have changed over time, Lynx can easily upgrade your existing system to the Bronze Package. The modular design of Lynx packages means that upgrading your system is as simple as adding new components to your existing package–so nothing you buy goes to waste. Upgrading to the Bronze Package provides:

1) Increased Camera Resolution (from 600 to 1000 fps)
2) Zoom Lens Upgrade (C-Mount f1.2, 12.5-75mm zoom)

The Color Upgrade is available for all monochrome cameras, including the 5L100, 5L200 and 5L420 models. (Scholastic cameras must first be upgraded to Bronze). When you purchase the Color Upgrade, you simply send your existing monochrome camera to Lynx, and we'll mail it back shortly with full color capabilities: high-quality images containing up to 32,756 colors. Even the best hip numbers can fall off or be obscured during races; in those situations, having full-color results allows for quick and accurate evaluations by using school affiliation and uniform color/design.

Adding a second EtherLynx camera gives you the ability to produce dual-angle photo-finish results using a reverse-angle camera. The second camera is placed on the opposite side of the finish line and captures results that are time-synced with your primary camera. When there's a tight finish, the athlete closest to the camera may obscure the view of other athletes, making it more difficult to evaluate an image. But this can easily be prevented by adding the EtherLynx 2000+ to your system so you can evaluate with dual-angle results.

This nine-digit display shows letters and numbers at a full 6” height–as big as some scoreboards twice the size–and is visible at more than 200 feet. The FinishLynx scoreboard option allows you to control your display outputs with a simple click. Because results are streaming across a single network, it’s easy to customize your display depending on the event including schools and athlete names, split times, and finish line results.

You can add the Scholastic Package to your existing system to achieve complete redundancy: the reliability of two separate FAT results systems. System redundancy offers a level of accuracy and security necessary for large-scale meets. Reverse-angle configurations have long been a favorite of Lynx service providers, who are trusted to time meets like the Indoor Nationals. No matter what your existing system, the Scholastic Packages makes it easier than even to achieve reliable, reverse-angle results at your venue.

The IPICO Chip Timing System uses RFID technology (mat, chips, & reader) to provide real-time athlete identification for cross country and distance races. The system integrates seamlessly with FinishLynx to produce timing and lap data as athletes cross the finish line. This Daktronics Galaxy Display features 16 x 112 Red 20mm LED pixels, ideal for displaying alphanumeric text and graphics at your meets. It can display two lines of 22 characters at a height of 5.5" each. It even has the ability to upload and display school logos or sponsor graphics. (Includes NCP plug in)
